The story

This barn quilt block was created by 5 enthusiastic patrons from the Clinton Branch of the Huron County Library. The Tree of Knowledge name was chosen as it symbolizes the knowledge you can find at the library through its programs, services and resources both physical and electronic. The heart of our tree has a “friendship star” which represents the friends made at the library, friends who meet at the library, friends of the library as well as the friendly service found at the library. The blue and gold colours in our tree are the Huron County Library colours. The red and gold autumn colours were chosen to acknowledge the 2017 IPM Beautification Committee’s initiative for the Huron County Barn Quilt Trail. Our  library project was donated to the Black’s, friends of our library, who proudly display it on their barn. A special thank you to the crew of volunteers who helped hang the barn quilt block.
