The story
The apple in the middle represents the apple orchard the VanBrenk`s started in 1973 and has grown into a fruit farm and nursery that is now run by the second generation of VanBrenk`s. The red, yellow, and green are the colours of firm, fleshy apples. The wooden shoes represent Rien’s heritage from Holland and the kangaroos represent Helen’s Australianhomeland.
